Donations The Family Resource Center depends on the contributions of individuals, churches and civic groups to help us meet the needs of our clients. To make a tax-deductible monetary donation, please send your check or money order to:     The Family Resource Center     P.O. Box 612     Wytheville, VA 24382-0612 We are seeking donations to cover the rent and utility expenses for our shelter and outreach offices. Would you be willing to pay for all or part of a month's rent or electric bill for our Marion or Galax offices or for our Shelter? You can make a designated donation to help with these expenses. In addition to financial gifts, we also have an ongoing need for donations of items such as gas cards, food, paper items, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, diapers, over-the-counter medications, linens, pillows, personal care products, new clothing, gift certificates, etc. For a more complete listing of items we regularly need, please review our Suggested Donation Items list:  Suggested Donation Items For more information, call Sissy Gravley at 276.228.8431. NAP Credits available for qualifying donations. Cell Phone Collection Project Donate your used cell phone and help us raise money to support victims of domestic & sexual violence! Our cell phone fundraiser program is sponsored by Shelter Alliance (www.shelteralliance.net), a program of cell phone recycling company GRC Wireless Recycling (www.grcrecycling.com). Through Shelter Alliance, nonprofit organizations raise funds through the collection & recycling of used cell phones, and businesses & consumers donate & recycle cell phones to benefit nonprofit participants. Individuals can drop their used cell phone into a collection box in one of several convenient locations (call  276.625.0219 for more information).
